I grew up in Napa and I’ve spent the last seven years in wine and marketing. Most of what I do comes back to one thing: helping wineries, especially small family ones, reach the people who drink their wine, and making wine easier to buy and enjoy.
I do social media for wineries: reels, shoots and strategy. I founded GoferPost so wineries and small businesses can plan and schedule a month of posts without a marketing team. I sit on the board of the Micro-Winery Guild, which works on advocacy, agritourism and shared marketing for family wineries under 5,000 cases, and is about to run the first industry survey of wineries that size.
On Instagram I talk about how wine gets sold: tasting rooms, scores, pricing, and the way the industry talks to customers. About 17,000 people follow along. Some posts are about the people who farm and pick the grapes, and every December I run Project Santa, a present drive for farmworker kids.
